OUR GUARANTEE

We guarantee our puppies against life-threatening hereditary diseases to one year of age to original purchaser. If such  problems arise within their first year of life the breeder will replace your puppy or refund your purchase price when provided with a veterinarian's written diagnosis reviewed and agreed upon by our veterinarian. We do not cover your veterinarian's charges.  Undescended testicles, hernias, pinched nostrils, hypoglycemia and infertility are not covered. Pinched nostrils open up by the time the puppies teeth are in and the puppy reaches puberty.  Hernias, as much as we try to prevent them, are caused by bacteria and are common in Shih Tzu. We do not cover surgery costs should you choose to repair a hernia.

             
                 To purchase an available puppy of your choice we require a $500 nonrefundable deposit.


By 8 weeks they will be weaned, dewormed, wellness checked, have their first puppy shots and be well on their way in successful litter training. View our TRAINING PAGE to see our litter and bell training programs.

Pigment is most easily identified on the nose, lips, and eye rims.

Black is the most common pigment color.

The rare pigment colors, liver/chocolate and blue/lavender are dilute genes.

Those with the liver/chocolate colored pigment will not have even one black strand of hair on them. Excessive crossing of the blue gene can cause alopecia or hair loss, generally on the ears and sometimes the tail.

Shih Tzu are hypoallergenic. They do not shed! Like humans, their hair continues to grow. Shih Tzu's long, flowing coat is its most distinctive feature.
The word Shih Tzu (pronounced 'sheed'-zu, or 'sheet'- su) means 'lion'.

Shih Tzu are very intelligent, they want to please, and they learn quickly.  Puppies raised in our home will begin litter training at 4 weeks. By 8 weeks they are well on their way to successful litter training.
